Volunteer Recruitment Night 3rd October
We are hosting an informal volunteer recruitment night for those interested in joining our volunteer team. Whether you have volunteered many times before or know very little about what we do at NEoN we would really love you to come along, find out more and share some pizza with us!
This year our festival theme is REACT, questioning; What role digital art can play in our political systems? How can digital arts activism engage people in socio-political issues? How do we protest differently in a digital age?

NEoN Digital Arts Festival 2019 is running from 4th – 10th November, however we are looking for volunteers to help from 22nd October (install) until around 18th November (extra invigilation for longer running exhibitions and destall). Whether you can only do a couple of days during the festival, are an install/destall expert or want to help out for an entire month we would love to hear from you.
NEoN is spread across various locations around Dundee & we have various shifts available.
We have a number of festival placements that will provide an excellent opportunity to work alongside leaders in the digital arts world at the same time as gaining invaluable experience. Here are some of the following roles that you can get involved in:
• Activity room & workshop assistants
• Front of house & invigilation
• Installation team
• Stewarding
• Flyering & promotion
• Social Media and web communication
If there are any other areas that you have particular skills in or would like to learn more about we encourage you to let us know. We want to help you as much as you help us!
NEoN achieved a Volunteer Friendly Award for 2018-2020 and we are now a member of the Saltire Awards Scheme!
