NEoN returns to Dundee this November and we’re excited to reveal that the 2012 programme will run between 4th-10th November with the theme of movement whether that be digital information moving round a city or exploring movement between the physical and virtual.
To continue the festival’s success into its fourth consecutive year, organisers are hard at work working closely with many local enterprises, ensuring that audiences will be able to attend and take part in an extensive programme. Workshops, talks and the popular Pecha Kucha event will accompany exhibitions, performance and sound installations.
Donna Holford-Lovell, Curator of NEoN says that, “Audiences can now ‘roam’ in ways never imagined. Their experiences stretch across remote desktops and into virtualised applications, then back again into the physical. This year NEoN will be investigating, encouraging and exploring the movement between these environments.”
The full line-up of speakers, participants, sponsors, events, movies, parties and venues will all be announced over the next several weeks so make sure you visit www.neondigitalarts.com for all of the latest news and updates to the programme. To get involved with the NEoN community join us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter: @weareneon.
