NEoN Podcast – Digital Dundee
NEoN would like to thank everyone who took part in its first warm up event – NEoN Debate. It was a good turn out of folk and a very interesting mix. It was quite clear that people are very passionate about Dundee as a whole and are keen to make it an even better place to live, work and visit, very much going beyond the digital concerns.
The main notion to come of Tuesday nights debate was that it is imperative to remember that ‘digital’ is a facility the city can use and not the driving force. The driving force are the city’s people (including those on the peripheries) and it is these people that have to be listened too to make any strategy truly civic.
