As part of this years Dundee Science Festival join NEoN Digital Arts for a hands on workshop to explore generative art and fractal landscapes, using the aesthetics of digital images and algorithms to mimic nature. Watch the machine create complicated visual systems, taking over the screen with complex structures that could not be made by human hands. Once you’ve experimented with the onscreen there will be an opportunity to make 3D fractal pop up cards and complex paper shapes to take away.
Inspired by the work of Marius Watz, UCrackingÂ
Computers will be available to experience the software and all materials will be available to make your paper shapes.
